On January 18, 2014 we participated in our first poker run.  The 6th Annual Jeff’s Fun Run stopped by the shop here at South Bay Chrome/CCI with over 200 cars.  The event was open to all makes and models which included hot rods, classic rides and custom trucks.  The variety of vehicles was impressive as these photos show.  The people came in waves of 20-30 cars at a time over a three-hour period.  It was like a traveling car show.  The participants, who were raising money for cancer research and having a great time, would stop by for about 10-30 minutes until they were ready to move on to the next stop on the map.  Good thing we had ample parking on both sides of the street because this place was packed!

To all the crew at Classic Components. Thank you for being a great host for Jeff’s Fun Run”. My son Nate owns the 1958 red Corvette in your photo’s. You did all the chrome work for this project that took us 4 years to complete as a family project. As you can see, your attention to detail and expert craftsmanship in the repair of some parts and the beautiful finished chrome work, is without a doubt “FIRST CLASS”. We enjoyed talking with all of you and thank you for the photo’s on your website. As they say in business, if we do wrong tell us, if we do good tell others. Well, we are telling others Classic Components is “FIRST CLASS”. Thank you again, Bob, Nate and Chris Travers.
