Chrome Plated Goldwings Turns Heads Every Time

The Honda Goldwing (GL1800) is a bike whose rims and parts make it through the Classic Components’ shop more than you might think. While many consider the GL1800 a touring bike, which it is, we like to think of it as the powerful bike with fanatical owners who love to customize their Goldwings by making them look sharp with chrome plated rims and chrome plated motorcycle parts.

A classy bike for classy owners, we have plated a lot of Honda Goldwing parts, GL1800 rims and helped build some sharp looking bikes with other shops and bike designers. We even carry a healthy stock of Goldwing rims for chrome motorcycle rims exchange. Just give us a call to see what we have in stock. Now that Honda is releasing the even more powerful and sleeker Goldwing in 2014, we are expecting even more requests for chrome Honda Goldwing parts and rims. Take a look at some of the Goldwings we have worked on the past few years.

“I am looking to chrome plate my 2012 GL1800 rims and swing arm. Has anyone found someone that is reliable and will be able to get my rims and swing arms back to me before the spring riding season? It is good time to break my bike down, but I want my stuff back by March so I can get out there in April. “

“I saw recently saw a Busa that had black chrome rims on it. This guy has a custom orange powder coat on his ride, so the rims just looked great. Does anyone have any experience getting black chrome on their bikes? I was thinking regular chrome seeing how I won’t be getting custom paint. But man, these looked sharp.”
